Cycling solo around the world April 2017

A Journey around the world by bike

In April 2017 The Novice Explorer, set off to cycle solo around the world, over 17,000-mile through 20 (now 24) countries and 5 continents. With the aim of showing that the extraordinary can be achieved by the ordinary. All without the need for a specialised skill set, in my case, although I can ride a bike, I don't consider myself to be a cyclist in any sense. The adventure will be shared across Twitter, Instagram,Youtube and the Blog throughout whenever possible.

My solo adventure around the world also aims to raise awareness and £10,000 for Meningitis Now and Macmillan Cancer SupportMeningitis Now work to save lives and rebuild futures by funding research, raising awareness and providing support. Check out their website for more info on spotting the symptoms and how they provide support. Macmillan Cancer Support help those diagnosed and as well as providing help and support for their family members. visit their site to see the great work that they do.
